MUREX

If you encounter this one IRL you will see a big, rich, heavy shell mirror. With its overwhelming 120 x 160 cm measures it’s one of the biggest pieces we’ve made. A true conversation piece. The shell topography is loaded with all kinds of white and off-white shells, plus some darker ones for drama. The protruding top end – or crown piece – is largely packed with murex shells, hence its name. Where is that empty, central wall space that could do justice to this mirror?
