WHITE RIVERS

Our dentist wanted something new in the waiting room to catch the attention of her patients. She’d seen one of our pieces combining white and darker shells but wanted a bigger version. We suggested one lying down, got the measures and the go ahead. The white flows between the dark peninsulas was an idea that came out of nowhere. When we where done it looked like white water running through the landscape and over the edge – White Rivers!

St James scallops, banana shells, leafy carditas, frilly basket clams and a mix of different clam, scallop and cockle shells. Polished turbans, paua shell fragments, frog shells, scorpio conchs, magpie turbans, olive shells, fig cones and other cone shells, pacific top vase shells, oysters, mixed cowries, delphinula shells, mitre shells, sea urchin spines, wing oysters, tulip shells, snipe bill’s murex shells, rotong and lightning dove shells etc, etc.
